East Burne Farm is situated along a narrow, winding lane in a peaceful and unspoilt valley, only a mile from the A38.  It is a superb centre from which to explore the South Devon area.  Guests are free to enjoy our 14 acres, part of which is allowed to develop as a nature reserve, rich in flora and fauna.  There is a 10 by 5 metres heated swimming pool in the garden with wide, gentle steps at the shallow end.

The farmhouse is a Grade II listed medieval hall house with a cobbled yard.  We offer self-catering holiday accommodation in 'The Pound' for up to 4 people.  Originally the cider press barn, the accommodation is all on one level.  With easy access from the car parking area, 'The Pound' is ideal for people with disabilities.  It has two bedrooms, one double and one twin bedded, a large sunny lounge with dining area, a kitchen and a bathroom with bath and shower. 

'The Pound' offers ideal accommodation for families with young children.  There are many visitor attractions nearby as well as the natural beauty of Dartmoor and the beaches of the south Devon coast.  For adults we offer tranquility and a feeling of being away from it all, yet we are within easy reach of many places of interest.
